Terms and conditions of booking

I am not a travel agent and I’m not a member of the ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents) I am a retired copper running trips for friends ... as simple as that!

Circumstances beyond our control may deem it necessary to increase the cost of a tour. e.g. ferry prices subject to fuel increases or taxes levied. Any increase less than 2% will be absorbed by myself but any increase over this will be added to the final total.

If you cancel (all cancellations must be in writing - e-mail acceptable) - a full 6 weeks before departure for European tours, 30 days before UK tours. On this condition we will refund in full, less £25 per person.

If you cancel between 41 and 30 days (European)  29 and 14 days (UK) we will refund 50%
If you cancel with less than 30 days (European) and 14 days (UK) no refund will be made.

Arrangements for your tour are planned and paid for months in advance; therefore we strongly recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance. In the event of major changes outside our control we will advise you immediately so that we may either continue the tour with a changed itinerary or you may cancel your holiday with a full refund.

Transfer of booking – You may transfer your booking to another person in the event of you having to cancel, however it is then your responsibility to see that monies are paid in full. There may be a small charge to cover administration costs.

I reserve the right to cancel a tour in the event of insufficient numbers. I will refund all monies paid in full.

I will not be held responsible in the event of war, riots, civil unrest, terrorism, industrial disputes, adverse weather conditions and will not offer a refund or compensation.

All monies received are held by M Wheeler/Yorkshire Bank plc in a secure account until your tour is completed.

You must hold a valid Certificate of Insurance covering rider and pillion, and be a competent rider with a machine that is road legal and mechanically sound. You must also have the ability/provision to get yourself and your bike home in the event of a breakdown.
